Electrolytic Tinplate Coils

Electrolytic tinplate (ETP) is composed of five layers: base steel, iron-tin alloy, tin, passivation film and oil film. A tin oxide film lies beneath the passivation film. Tinplate is thin steel coated with tin, offering metallic lustre along with corrosion resistance, solderability and weldability.
